We use eastern European Oak. Why? because it is a better quality oak. The forestry management is far more intensive and sustainable and because of this it delivers straighter stronger wood, with less knots, the wood is stronger and less prone to fracturing.
Yes we do. There is a skill to putting an oak frame up, plus the oak is heavy and demands skill and strength to get the oak in place. We can normally get a frame up with in three days depending on size and structure design. You will then have a beautifully built frame finished perfectly in every respect.
We can supply one of our beautifully designed Classic Oak Framed Cart Sheds (frame only) that can be erected onto your own groundworks and for others to roof. Read more here.
Yes we do. We can arrange the application and provide all the drawings for the application. Within our fee we will handle all correspondence, meetings and all paperwork. Please contact us for more details.
The delivery charge is worked out on mileage and weight. This will be assessed and advised once your order is made, and included in your quotation.
Yes we do. We can offer services from planning applications, ground works, building erection, and roofing. We also offer fibreglass roofing, roof lanterns glazing.
Most of our buildings are cut before we come to your site, thus causing minimal disruption, noise and mess for our clients. There may well be a small amount of cutting needed on site to get the building completed. Two Bay Cart Sheds take about two days to erect the frame, then the cladding and roof timbers will be fitted. Normally within a week your timber frame will be up. Larger building tend to take two to three days more to be completed. Large Garden Rooms and Orangeries are normally take two weeks to build. Groundworks and roofing are normally a week either side of this.
We can supply barn style doors for the buildings, along with staircases and external hardwood doors. We can also fit and supply velux windows.
